Solid, Steady and Ready to Serve

Why I’m Running

My grandfather was a janitor at the elementary school and my father a flour miller. I am a small business owner, farmer and rancher. My wife is a public school teacher. We have four kids and a son who adopted us. We raised our family with the help of our neighbors, extended family, and our church. When we were surprised with quadruplets, we were also surprised with four times the love and support from our community. I’ve always tried to give back to my community.

Meet Mike

A Lifetime Of Western Oklahoma

Born and raised in Okeene, Mike is the fourth generation of his family to call our district home. Mike loves western Oklahoma. He knows what it’s like to grow up in the country, drive trucks and tractors and run around without your parents worrying. Mike understands the interests and concerns of our communities because he shares them from a lifetime of experience.

Proud Husband And Father

Mike met his wife Ginny in the third grade. They were married soon after Mike graduated from OSU with a degree in Business Administration. In 1995, the Dobrinski’s had an unexpected but blessed surprise: quadruplets. Mike’s hometown rallied behind the family donating diapers, babysitting and even helping ready the kids for school. Now young adults, Michael, James, Scott and Shelby are still Mike’s inspiration for championing rural Oklahoma.

Fair And Honest Businessman, Farmer

A well-known and successful businessman, Mike and his brother Jim owned and operated Chevy dealerships in Okeene and Kingfisher for over 35 years. He was also in the restaurant business just like his grandparents before him. Mike is known for his work ethic and being fair and honest. He says his job was always about “serving people and solving problems.” Sounds like a great fit for our next state representative.

Mike has served as president of the Okeene Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce, School Foundation, Blaine County Industrial Team and Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, where he still serves as trustee.

A Man Of Values, Faith & God

After Mike sold his business last year, he turned his attention to farming, cows and calves and has stayed as busy as ever. He knows how hard our farmers work and the importance of agriculture to Oklahoma’s economy. Mike will be a solid, steady voice for our values. He is 100% pro-life, an NRA member and a supports President Trump in fighting Washington corruption and lessening the burden on our daily lives.

Mike and his family are lifelong members of First United Methodist Church of Okeene. He is chairman of the Administrative Council, has led youth, choir, Sunday School and filled in for the pastor on occasion.

Mike has served as president of the Okeene Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce, School Foundation, Blaine County Industrial Team and Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, where he still serves as trustee.
